Spring is in full bloom at our West Des Moines campus!🌸

When it comes to honoring America’s heroes who have served our country, Lanae Strovers goes above and beyond. We’re proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Heroes From the Heartland event.

Together is a great place to be, especially in our newly renovated multi-purpose room at the West Des Moines campus for another All-Employee meeting. 2023 was a challenging year for many, including the insurance industry, but hearing directly from our leaders about driving forward with our goals for 2024 is great momentum for teams across multiple states. 

A super star team of athletes participated in the annual Fight for Air Climb in Des Moines yesterday to raise money and awareness for the American Lung Association. As the reigning champions from the 2023 competition, the team climbed 85 flights of stairs in buildings across downtown Des Moines and helped raise over $200,000 for lifesaving research. The Farm Bureau Financial Services team was proud to hold onto their title by winning the 2024 Corporate Climb. Mat Gleason, Vice President – Financial Services Operations, spent the day with Iowa high school students at @jacentraliowa’s Stock Market Challenge. We’re proud to have been this year’s presenting sponsor of the event and were impressed with the talent and knowledge these students brought to the competition.

Congratulations to Deb White, District Manager (MN), on her induction into the Finseca Hall of Fame at #LAMP2024. Deb’s commitment and dedication to Farm Bureau Financial Services since 1992 is a testament to receiving this prestigious honor. As the first woman to be inducted, Deb’s accomplishments have impacted the industry through recruiting, agent production and more.

We’ve been undergoing construction projects at our West Des Moines campus to provide employees with an updated and modern workspace. This multi-year project includes improvements to our wellness center, day care facility and outdoor patio space. The recently opened cafeteria, newly opened dining room and conference center have given employees more opportunities to interact with each other.

Variety, the Children's Charity is near to all our hearts, but especially for Property and Casualty Administrative and Performance VP, Missy Haden, whose son has benefited from the good work Variety does. Hearing positive family testimonies are one of many reasons we’re proud to support them with another successful fundraising campaign.
